Introducing Weekly Tournament Leaderboards – Bigger Prizes, More Frequent Wins in Coinpoker!

30 jun 2025

Overview

We’re thrilled to announce a major upgrade to our tournament leaderboard system: weekly leaderboards with a $5,000 prize pool every single week!

That’s right, we transition from monthly to weekly tournament leaderboards, offering you bigger rewards and more frequent chances to win.

Why We Switched To Weekly Leaderboards

At CoinPoker, we prioritize our players’ feedback and are dedicated to enhancing your online poker experience by delivering greater value and exciting new opportunities.

This is how we do it:

  1. Increased Prize Pool
  2. Old Format: $15,000 monthly prize pool
  3. New Format: $5,000 weekly prize pool, which equals a $5,000 increase

With weekly leaderboards, you have three times more opportunities to win as there are now four instead of only one leaderboard per month.

  1. More Action, More Chances To Win

Due to the new weekly format, it is now much easier to climb the ranks of the leaderboard.

Compete every week, build your bankroll, and earn massive rewards!

How The Weekly Tournament Leaderboards Work

The weekly Leaderboard starts every Monday at 00:00 UTC and ends on Sunday at 23:59 UTC.

Here is how the new weekly tournament leaderboards work:

  1. Play Multi-Table Tournaments: The weekly tournament leaderboard includes all Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs) while satellites, freerolls and freebuys are excluded.
  2. Compete Weekly: Participate in eligible tournaments and earn leaderboard points based on your performance. The more tournaments you play, the more rewards you earn.
  3. Climb the Ranks: Points are awarded based on buy-ins, the number of participants, and your finishing position.
  4. Win Big: The top 50 places are paid and there is a whopping $500 up top every week.
  5. Fast Payouts: Leaderboard prizes will be awarded within 72 hours after the week has ended.

Points Calculation

How Are Leaderboard Points Calculated?

Leaderboard Points are calculated using the following formula:

  • Points = 10 × (√Number of Players ÷ √Place) × (1 + LOG(Buy-in + 0.25))
  • Bonus Points: 10% Bonus Points for signing up for a tournament before it begins. 50% More Points for players paying Community Contributions in CHP.

For a full breakdown of how points are calculated, please see the Terms and Conditions below.

Prizes

What can I win?

You can secure your share of $5,000 in tournament tickets each week. The top 50 places are paid with a staggering $500 going to the winner.

All prizes are awarded in the form of CoinPoker tournament tickets and do not have a cash equivalent.
