Finland and Austria will create a common pool of players through Ray.fl and Win2day
The Finnish authorities have confirmed the deal on the exchange of gaming pools between two regulated markets which is the first one in the history of Europe.
We're talking about two poker rooms representing segregated markets in Finland and Austria - ray.fl and win2day.
Both poker rooms are powered by Playtech, but they aren't included in the total pool of iPoker Network. After merging the traffic of both rooms should increase significantly. However, both poker rooms are small: Ray.fl has around 150 cash game players, win2day has similar level of cash-activity though it isn't tracked by PokerScout.
It should be noted that the Finnish poker room will have to go through re-branding soon, it will become Veikkaus instead of Ray.fl.
