Extra chips are awarded all the way up to the end of Level 5, though registering ahead of the tournament’s start time earns the maximum Early Bird boost:

• Before the tournament starts: +10% extra chips
• During Level 1: +5%
• During Level 2: +4%
• During Level 3: +3%
• During Level 4: +2%
• During Level 5: +1%

 
Early Bird Bonus Chips are available in the majority of WPTG tournaments, and are identified in the lobby by the bird icon.
Direct buy-ins, ticket entries, satellite qualifiers and re-entries all qualify for Early Bird Bonus Chips, rewarding those who play the early levels.
