Amaya plans to eliminate the Full Tilt
According to unconfirmed reports David Baazov considers closing of poker room Full Tilt. Anyway, all employees of Full Tilt central office in Dublin is recommended to look for a new job. However, Baazov plans not just to close the room, he wants to "transfuse" the traffic from Full Tilt to PokerStars and thus to strengthen the position of its main asset.
Unfortunately, the constant struggle for the traffic hasn't yielded results. Since its re-opening Full Tilt has been constantly losing positions in the PokerScout ranking. Neither promotions nor the changes in the VIP-program of the room, which was only for amateur players, nor cutting of high limit tables, nor removing all games with a low popularity from the lobby managed to right the ship. Full Tilt was continuing to fall.
The decision to merge FT with PokerStars allows Amaya to optimize costs and simplify management at the same time retaining a significant part of the players of liquidated room. Players who would keep up this idea are most likely to be offered bonuses and other promotions. It is expected that the process of merging and elimination will happen during the next 6 months.
