Russia want to increase taxes on gambling activities significantly
Russian Ministry of Finance proposes to impose a gambling business in the country with new taxes. For example, it is expected that all bookmakers will deduct 10% of their profit from each bet.
It is also planned that operator will have to pay about $1570 for each gaming table in a land casino, and around $95 for each gaming machine.
Recall that there are gambling zones in Russia, but due to its geographical location and the weak development of the tourism system, these zones are virtually empty. New taxes can just destroy the legal betting and gaming business in Russia.
