Review of the online poker traffic for February

02 mar 2016

During February the world online poker traffic dipped by 7%. However, the absolute leader in the world ranking PokerStars has managed to hold its position, having lost momentarily 500 players. But the number of 17,000 players at the table is still active and stable for the Stars.
It will be interesting to look at the PS statistics after the merger with Full Tilt, which was announced earlier. Recall that this will happen on April 1, and will possibly allow PokerStars to break away from the second place.
An innovation from iPoker Six Plus Holdem network has failed to keep it from falling. iPoker has lost about 250 players, and now the average number of players in the network is 1,350 people. The French division of PokerStars also has lost 200 people, and a Georgian room Adjarabet suffered the loss of 50 players.
However, for someone February turned out to be the lucky month: 888 don't pass their positions and continue to occupy confidently the second place ranking from PokerScout. The Italian and Spanish PokerStars units with their numbers of 1300 and 800 players respectively have no losses.
But the decision of partypoker to return to the "gray market" seemed to be successful. The room has not only maintained its position, but also added 50 new players. Also, the positive growth has been seen at Bodog and Winamax.fr.
