The Netherlands will legalize online gambling next year
The Netherlands are going to launch a regulated online gambling market but it won't be easy to get there.
The thing is that the regulator Kansspelautoriteit will issue licenses only to those operators who have not been engaged in the illegal operating on local markets over the past three years.
Note that the bill on remote gambling was approved by the Senate in February last year, and applications for licenses are expected to start being accepted on March 1, 2021.
Although initially it was planned to start accepting applications from January 1, 2021. However, the regulator stated that after receiving applications, it could take up to six months before the newly formed regulated market begins operating.
Operators must meet several conditions when applying for a license.
They should be linked to the Central Registry of Exceptions (CRUKS).
Also, operators themselves must keep a close watch on problem players and protect them from gambling addiction at the right time.
Operators must also create a control database (CDB) containing current operational data, with full access provided for Kansspelautoriteit.
We remind you that in October, rakeback at PartyPoker is over 60%, and Israeli fish give out money randomly for some reason in PLO456.
