GGPoker launched the option to bet on the tournament winner
GGPoker has launched a new feature called Final Table Betting that allows players to make bets on who they think to win the tournament.
This option is available in some tournaments marked with a special final table bet symbol.
This feature debuted for the first time last Tuesday at the final table of the $10,300 Super MILLION $ High Roller tournament.
The betting feature has been developed in partnership with Mike McDonald's Pokershares, a popular poker betting platform that allows players to make bets on poker-related events.
However, this is not the first time an online poker room has allowed players to bet on the results of online poker tournaments.
Back in 2015, PokerStars launched a betting functionality during the WCOOP series for clients in the UK and some other European jurisdictions.
However, the new product from GGPoker is available to all players on an ongoing basis.
