Being one of the industry's leaders, Partypoker offers its own version of the flagship annual series called Powerfest.
The series is scheduled for April 9th ​​and will run for over two weeks which is synchronous with the two largest online series: SCOOP PokerStars and GGSF GGPoker. Each series has a multi-million dollar prize pool.
As usual, no guarantees for major events have been announced at partypoker, but according to some sources, this year we will have a Powerfest with a prize pool of $12.7 million which will be distributed across 66 tournaments.
Compared to previous series, this year's Powerfest schedule has been significantly reduced. It looks like the old Pokerfest ten years ago, with only a few dozen tournaments.
