GGPoker added Five Card Card PLO and N-Stack Tournaments
The world's second largest online poker room GGPoker will expand its Omaha offerings with the addition of the Five Card Card Pot Limit Omaha.
So, Five Card Card Pot Limit Omaha or PLO5 is played according to the rules of the standard version, except that each player is dealt five cards instead of four.
Betting and trading rounds, and the challenge to make the best five-card hand using three of the board cards and two of the hole cards, are still applied.
Five Card Card PLO will be available on both desktop and mobile clients as part of the usual PLO cash game structure with blinds ranging from $0.01 / $0.02 to $5 / $10 at 6-max tables.
GGPoker has already announced a $5,000 promotion for the new format. All this will be implemented through a special leaderboard which will be valid throughout this month. The rake in the Five Card Card PLO is 5%.
Along with 5 Card Omaha, the operator will also feature N-Stack tournaments, a format invented by PokerStars. In this format, players have the opportunity to choose their starting stack. However, it's unclear when this format will become available.
