Germany may prohibit multirooming
The official introduction of the new law on online gambling in Germany is planned in less ` than a month - July 1, 2021. Besides controversy around the turnover tax, it looks like there will be another problem: German players may be prohibited from playing at multiple operators at the same time.
According to information on the draft law published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Sports of Saxon Anhalt, information technology systems should track online gambling activity in the country including the amount of deposits and the number of registrations of a person with different operators.
So far, the planned turnover tax of 5.3% has been the main issue of controversy, which encouraged Unibet to reduce significantly its offers on the German market.
Anyway, the discussion is ongoing, and no other operators apart from Unibet have made any statements. Therefore, we remind you: firstly, you only have a month left to get preferential VIP status in Skrill/Neteller payment systems, as well as profitable rakeback deals on all networks.
