Unibet News Digest: Ratholing Reform, €40,000 Autumn Flop Race
In the beginning of September, Unibet carried out a reform aimed at combating ratholing (the so-called " financial impropriety", when a player leaves the table and returns immediately with a stack less than they had before leaving).
As part of this struggle, if players join the table with a stack below 100BB, then they can return only with exactly the same stack they left the game with.
If a player leaves the table with a stack over 100 BB and then returns to the table in less than 30 minutes, this will be considered a rathaling attempt.
A player has only 4 opportunities to return to the table with 100 BB in 24 hours, after leaving it with a large stack.
Also until October 31st, Unibet Poker is running the €40,000 Autumn Flop Race. In this race, points are awarded for the number of flops viewed. Leaderboards are delimited as follows:
- Low (NL / PLO10-25)
- Medium (NL / PLO50-100)
- High (NL / PLO200-400)
Moreover, if you play the maximum limit of each division (namely: NLH 25/100/400), you will receive additional multipliers x1.5.
In addition, bad beat points are provided in case you ended the day with a loss, you will receive 1 point for each €1 lost (but not for more than 100BB of the playing limit), as well as 30 points for the first 100 flops watched.
