Online-traffic: review of November
The global cash game market was stable in November. The average number of players in cash games amounted in 31,450. This is by 0.5% less than in October, but, in general, it responds to the overall picture of the market, since November is traditionally a month of a low stability, because all operators cherish all the most delicious promotions for Christmas. Let's look at the traffic of networks.
WPN, the network which accepts US players demonstrated an impressive growth rate. In average, WPN grows by 10% per month. November has not become an exception.
In general, other positive pro-US poker rooms demonstrate the same trend: Bovada/Ignition, Bodog. Even despite closing of Equity Poker Network, we can say that American players have not lost interest in poker. Well, we haven't lost it as well!
Dot-com markets are also stable. The average number of players at the cash game tables in dot-com rooms amounted in 21.788, which is only 50 more than the same period last month.
The leader of the industry PokerStars has lost 2% and the number of players at the cash game tables of PS has dropped even below the psychological mark of 13,000 for a while.
As for antagonist of PokerStars, 888Poker, it has demonstrated almost 4% growth!
PartyPoker has remained stable last month, but due to the minimal iPoker's growth of 1%, Party has failed to keep third place and gave it the before-mentioned network.
MPN gave a good account of themselves. They had a 3.2% growth, and it is impressive considering the fact that they have not held any special promotions.
But Unibet has not had time to skim the cream off from the large-scale promotion yet, that was launched on the 1st of December and dedicated to the new software. Only in the beginning of January 2017 we will be able to know whether Unibet grow or lose due to its large-scale updating. While we can state - November has been stable for green room.
